Any help for crooked teeth or braces?
Perfection is relative! I understand how you might feel about your nongeneric smile, especially as an adult, but I've seen plenty of beautiful women with unique and crooked teeth that only added to their charm. Braces are an option, no matter your age, but there's plenty more you can do to polish your look. Here are some ideas:
Pay special attention to caring for your skin. Be vigilant about cleansing and moisturizing. Smooth, fresh skin is so appealing.
Keep your hair smooth and off your face; the less distractions, the better.
Stay away from cosmetics with any shine or shimmer -- think matte and classic.
Pamper your lips! Keep them smooth by lightly cleansing with a bit of facial exfoliant or brushing them with a soft toothbrush once a week.
Apply a no-color lip treatment in lieu of lipstick or gloss, such as a balm or Chap Stick. Again, stay away from anything shiny.
Enhance the eye area by splurging on professional eyebrow shaping. The wider and cleaner looking the eyes, the better.
Curl those lashes! Use a rich brown or black to subtly intensify.
Regarding your teeth, no matter their structure, whitening always sets a smile off to best advantage. If needed, try different whitening methods; if you wear braces, consult your orthodontist before whitening. When you do wear lipstick, tend toward blue-red shades, which make teeth appear whiter.
And lastly, hold your head high and smile. No woman is more beautiful than when she carries herself with confidence!
